FAQs

Planning questions, answered.

Practical notes on scope, timing and briefings for your next event.

What should I include when I request staff?

Share the event type, city and venue, date, shift start and end times, the roles you need and how many of each. Dress code, physical requirements and any certifications are useful too — the clearer the request, the easier it is to match the right people.

How far ahead should I plan?

As early as you can. Larger teams, multi-day events and specialised roles benefit from more lead time. If your date is close, send the request anyway with your timing clearly noted so availability can be reviewed.

Can one request cover several roles?

Yes. A single event can mix roles — for example registration staff in the morning, waitstaff over lunch and cleanup crew at close. List each role with its own headcount and shift times.

How do workers know what to do on the day?

Each shift carries its details: arrival point, contact on site, dress code and instructions. A short briefing at the start of the shift — where to stand, who to ask, what guests will need — helps everyone settle in fast.

Do you only cover events?

Hospitality, back-of-house kitchens, conferences and tradeshows are the core. Supporting roles such as cleaning, warehouse, retail and stadium staff can also be requested — describe the work and the setting in your notes.

What if my event details change?

Plans move. Update the shift details — times, headcount, location notes — as soon as you know, so the team has the latest information before they arrive.

Take control of your work.

Find event shifts that fit your schedule and experience — hospitality, kitchens, conferences, venues and more.
